What Is a Builders Clean?
A builders clean is a specialist post-construction clean carried out after building, renovation, or refurbishment work is complete. Construction leaves behind plaster dust, paint splashes, adhesive residue, silicone smears, and debris that a standard clean simply cannot tackle. Our team uses professional-grade equipment and techniques to remove every trace — leaving the property immaculate and ready for handover, photography, or occupation.
The Process
Our Two-Phase Approach
We offer both stages of the builders clean process, individually or as a combined package.
Phase 1 — Initial Builders Clean
Carried out once the main construction work is finished but before fixtures, fittings, and flooring are fully installed. We remove the bulk of construction debris, dust, and waste to prepare the site for the finishing trades.

- Vacuuming and sweeping of all floors and surfaces
- Removal of plaster dust from walls, ceilings, and floors
- Cleaning of window frames and sills
- Wiping down of all hard surfaces
- Clearing of stairways and communal areas
Phase 2 — Sparkle Clean
The final clean carried out once all trades have finished and the property is ready for handover. This is a detailed, top-to-bottom clean that leaves every surface gleaming and the property ready for photography, inspection, or immediate occupation.
- Full deep clean of all rooms and surfaces
- Paint splashes and adhesive residue removed
- All windows cleaned inside only (internal only)
- Kitchen appliances and units cleaned inside and out
- Bathrooms and wet rooms scrubbed and polished
- All floors cleaned, polished, or vacuumed
- Skirting boards, door frames, and light switches wiped
- Streak-free glass, mirrors, and chrome fittings
- Removal of protective film from appliances and surfaces
